FEA Analysis

The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is the simulation of physical phenomenons calculated using the numerical technique called Finite Element Method (FEM).

During the design phase of components and complex systems it’s used in parallel with the classic design approach in order to reduce the number of physical prototypes and experiments, reaching high level of optimization in a shorter amount of time.

Static

With static analysis, it’s possible to analyze linear static and nonlinear quasi-static structures. With only a single computational step it’s possible to solve problems in linear and static load conditions.

Different geometries, types of link and non-linear materials can be considered during the analysis process.

Dynamic

We can simulate dynamic FEA analysis is used to evaluate the impact of transient loads also to avoid potential noise and vibration problems.

 

Modal

The Eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes of a structure caused by external vibrations can be simulated using modal analysis.

The peak response of a structure or a complex system under a given load can be simulated with harmonic analysis.

 

Thermal

Heat transfer is one of the most common analyzed physical phenomena. Through the thermal analysis we can provide useful information during the design phase of a product as:

  • Temperature distributions.
  • Heat flux paths – important information for insulation evaluation.
  • Boundary condition for thermal stress analysis

 

Noise & Vibration

Using Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) we can predict the transmission of sound and vibration through complex structural acoustic systems.
